Chris Bennett (Heavy Haulage) Ltd is a leading provider of nationwide aerospace transport in the UK. We operate a specialist fleet of heavy haulage and escort vehicles capable of carrying engines and fuselages, as well as enclosed tautliners for aeroplane seats, cabin interiors and other smaller aerospace cargo.

 Our fleet of aerospace transportation vehicles is available on a 24-hour, seven-day basis, allowing aeroplane haulage to take place overnight when routes are less busy and road closures for abnormal loads cause less disruption. 

Fleet Vehicles for Aerospace Transportation 

The Chris Bennett (Heavy Haulage) Ltd fleet has a road haulage vehicle for almost any type or size of cargo. 

Our low-loaders and semi-low loaders can carry up to 100 tonnes on eleven axles, with any necessary escort vehicles to alert other road users to the presence of an abnormal load. We can liaise with police and local authorities to arrange road closures and diversions, as well as any permits and notifications that are needed. 

We specialise in high, wide and heavy loads. Our drivers are highly experienced over many years and will take every reasonable step to ensure that your cargo arrives safely on time – and doesn’t encounter a low bridge along the way. 

For medium loads, we have curtainsiders and articulated flatbeds suitable for up to 44 tonnes, while for smaller shipments we can provide a 12-tonne rigid flatbed. This variety of vehicles means we can always offer a truck or trailer that will transport your cargo efficiently, keeping aerospace logistics costs to a minimum.
